Jack Vinson, knowledge management consultant, who I blogged about in my prior post introducing this topic, has more to say about EMM (email management):

“The biggest email management strategy: Inbox Zero. It’s a clear goal and a wonderful feeling when it happens. The more frequently, the merrier. Just think if I could do it at the end of every day.”

Jack shared a new term: “bacn.” He says: “It’s not quite important mail, not quite spam. But something you only want to deal with when you want it - it shouldn’t interrupt you. Usually things like mailing list mail.”

Also, check out Jack’s latest post on the topic of overload (mostly RSS-related). He likes the thinking around “why” we are getting more and more of a problem.
